William "Bill" Richards, 91, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Friday evening February 7, 2020 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
He was born on April 7, 1928 in Bath County, to the late Thornton & Clara Alma Richards.
Billy was a U.S. Army Veteran who retired from G.T.E. as a lineman after 20 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, watching television and spending time with his friends. He was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Owingsville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Nell Flower and his brother, James Richards.
Survivors include his wife Edna Richards, two daughters, Cheryl Caudill (Johnny) of Owingsville and Nancy Martin (Stephen) of Mt. Sterling, one sister, Mary Gillespie of Ohio, two brothers, Bobby Richards of Owingsville and Carrol Richards of Ohio, three grandsons, John David Caudill (Waynanne) of Owingsville, Paul Martin (Jessika) of Lexington and Kevin Martin (Jessica) of Minnesota, four great grandchildren, Gracie Wilson, Parker Morgan, Cora Martin and Caroline Martin.
A private memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
There is no visitation.
